PIKES PEAK ELDER JUSTICE CENTER
MISSION
The Pikes Peak Elder Justice Center will support and enhance the safety, stability and security of older adults.

VISION
We envision a world where older adults are recognized, respected and supported; where compassionate care and community advocacy allow them to live free from abuse, neglect and exploitation.
VALUES
We, the members of the
Pikes Peak Elder Justice System
Board of Directors, do, individually and as a unit, value Dignified Freedom, Collaborative Justice, Community Culture, and Ethical Decision Making.
Dignified Freedom refers to the concept of being treated with respect and honor, of there cognition of the inherent worth of every individual. It emphasizes that true freedom includes the ability to live without oppression and to have one’s dignity upheld without regard to one’s cognition, ability, gender or ethnicity.

BOARD ENGAGEMENT
The PPEJC seeks individuals interested in a novel way to support older adults. We have 3-year terms and encourage directors to participate in leadership roles during their time served. We are inviting people with experience in the senior community, nonprofit sector, and older adults themselves.
