Aric Bidwell has worked in the county Adult Protection world for nearly 20 years. He has experience in two different states at the county level (both small and large counties) working as an Adult Protection caseworker, supervisor, and program manager. He has been involved in several state projects related to Colorado’s pilot of the Alternative Response program within Adult Protection, as well as several rule review and rewrite projects. Currently he works in El Paso County, Colorado during which time the county has met every performance metric that it has been held to for over 5 years. He also currently sits on the local Regional Advisory Council for the Area Agency on Aging, as well as being a board member on the Pikes Peak Elder Justice Center.
