Melanie Baker, MBA, LCSW, ACM-SW, currently manages the Care Management social work team for UCHealth’s Southern Region hospitals in the Colorado Springs area. Before her current role, she worked in both inpatient and outpatient Oncology settings as well as in outpatient mental health. Melanie currently participates on several local committees and initiatives including the Pikes Peak LTC Ethics and Behavioral Health Panel. Melanie is an alumnus of the Colorado Springs Mayor’s Civic Leaders program and a recipient of the Transformational Leadership Magnet Excellence Award. In her free time, Melanie enjoys practicing her beginner skills at pottery and volunteering with Lutheran Family Service’s refugee program.
