MISSION
Our Mission is a community response working toward preventing and
eliminating elder abuse in the Pikes Peak region and beyond, through identifying victims of mistreatment, creating safe shelter for them.
Elder Shelter is a coordinated effort to place adults who are 60 and over, or have a disability, in safe shelter while they are recovering from abuse or neglect.
The term fiduciary covers a wide range of roles: powers of attorney, medical proxies, guardians, or conservators.
The Forensic Center reflects a “one-stop-shop” where any agency working through an elder abuse situation and/or needing the assistance of other agencies with expertise.
