MELISSA MARTS

Melissa Marts has contributed 25+ years to the nonprofit sector in the Pikes Peak Region.  Her current role with the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments Area Agency on Aging fostered her role as a founding Board member for the Pikes Peak Elder Justice Center.  She has developed her nonprofit skills through the Executive Director role with the Women’s Resource Agency and as a Program Director for Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado.  In 2017 she was honored to receive a Woman of Influence award from the Colorado Springs Business Journal and has been a member of Pikes Peak Women since 2012.  Over the years she has given back to the community by serving on multiple boards and steering committees for events that make a difference for people and the environment.
