Chrissy Swanson, NHA has 40 years of progressive healthcare administration experience working in a variety of departments and positions for hospitals, skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living facilities. Currently responsible as the Executive Director for the overall administration of Skilled Nursing Unit and Assisted Living to include Memory Care at Bear Creek Senior Living, part of Stellar Senior Living. She serves the community on a variety of committees including Pikes Peak LTC Ethics Co-Chair and Behavioral Health Panel, the Pikes Peak Elder Justice Center, Board Vice President, and the Southern Colorado Healthcare Coalition LTC Emergency Preparedness Committee. She is an active member since 2015 of Colorado Healthcare Association (CHCA) serving on Governmental Policy Council, State Executive Board, Quality Initiatives & Leadership Council and is the current District III Chairperson. Chrissy is a Certified Professional Coach, Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence since 2013 and recipient of the 2018 CHCA Administrator of the Year award.
